Comelec begins canvassing of votes for nat’l candidates

MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Tuesday reconvened as the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC) to tally the votes for senators and party-list groups.

Comelec chairman George Erwin Garcia presided over the NBOC, which reconvened around 10 a.m.
