MANILA, Philippines — Poll watchdog Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) has already accessed nearly 98 percent of votes so far transmitted to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) transparency servers.
PPCRV spokesperson Ana Singson announced this in a press conference on Tuesday, as she expressed her gratitude to Comelec Chair George Garcia for keeping his word and giving them the data.

“So we’re very proud to show you almost 98 percent of the results with over 90,000 precincts already being counted,” Singson said.
Earlier Tuesday, Singson raised concerns about accessing only 79 percent of votes transmitted to Comelec transparency servers, while the poll body has access to 98 percent.
“I have to say, Chairman George, Chairman George Garcia, you are a man of your word. You came out this morning with a press conference and you said that you would give us the data within the morning. It’s just a little bit after morning,” Singson said.
The PPCRV spokesperson likewise reported that they already have access to 2,314 election returns currently at their command center in Manila.
Of the 2,314 election returns, 617 are from Quezon City, 93 from Makati, 983 from Manila, 393 from Pasay, and 228 from Mandaluyong.
