Yap, 47, ws elected councilor from 2010 to 2013 and Tagbilaran City mayor for three terms from 2013 to 2022.
“To those who have given their trust and help to make our group a success, thank you,” Yap said.
Chatto, 65, has a record of 45 years in public service. He served as president of the Kabataang Barangay from 1980 to 1986. He was elected city mayor, board member, vice governor and governor.
In a statement, Chatto echoed a popular adage that says “the voice of the people is the voice of God.”
