Defensor, Debuque, Treñas-Chu lead Iloilo poll winners
ILOILO CITY — Gov. Arthur “Toto” Defensor Jr. has secured his third and final term as governor of Iloilo, garnering over 800,000 votes in an uncontested race.
Defensor has faced no opponents since the 2022 elections.
Joining him in the Capitol is Anilao Mayor Lee Ann Debuque, who was proclaimed the new vice governor of Iloilo.

At 31 years old, Debuque earned 547,262 votes, running on a platform focused on good governance and direct barangay-level services.
In Iloilo City, Raisa Treñas-Chu, daughter of outgoing mayor Jerry Treñas, was proclaimed as the new city mayor.
Treñas-Chu acknowledged the significant role played by the youth sector in her victory and committed to serving all sectors of society.
The 2025 elections in Iloilo concluded with a peaceful and orderly canvassing of votes, according to local election officials./###
