LOOK: Atin Ito's distribution of fuel to local fishermen in WPS

ABOARD T/S FELIX OCA, PAG-ASA ISLAND, West Philippine Sea — Atin Ito volunteers successfully distributed over 20 gallons of fuel to fishermen from Pag-asa Island on Wednesday afternoon.

As seen on videos taken by INQUIRER.net, the fuel was handed to fisherfolk from the the training ship (T/S) Felix Oca.

After the distribution, the fishermen went back to Pag-asa Island around 3:30 p.m. 

The civilian vessel is now sailing to Manila, according to its captain, Jorge Dela Cruz.

Atin Ito earlier held a concert in the ship’s training bridge at aorund 1:00 p.m. due to inclement weather.

On May 16 last year, the Atin Ito Coalition conducted its second civilian mission in the West Philippine Sea. 

Its first supply mission was conducted in December 2023.
