MANILA, Philippines — With many parts of the country still getting relentless southwest monsoon rainfall, two weather disturbances intensified in tropical storms on Tuesday — Emong and Dante, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

The two weather disturbances formed just four days after Severe Tropical Storm Crising exited the Philippine area of responsibility.
