WATCH: Filipino seafarers held by Houthis set to return to Manila
Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Cacdac is on his way back to Manila with the nine Filipino seafarers who survived the July attack on their cargo ship by Yemen’s Houthi rebels, his wife Ruby Alvarez said.
Alvarez read the secretary’s message during the Traditional University Awards for Government Service at Ateneo de Manila University on Wednesday afternoon, December 4.
