At its 27th hour, the Feast of Jesus Nazareno drew around 7,337,700 devotees, the Manila Public Information Office (MPIO) reported on Saturday morning.

Authorities recorded that two persons died during the 2026 Traslacion, the procession of the image of Jesus Nazareno that started Friday morning.

The crowd of barefoot devotees participating in “Traslacion” for the Jesus Nazareno is at Ayala Boulevard in Manila as of 8:45 a.m. on Friday.

The traslacion of Jesus Nazareno has always left millions of people in awe, especially when devotees start waving their white or maroon towels, which they would later wipe on the centuries-old image, either in procession or in the pahalik.
