Comelec starts ‘Register Anywhere’ program again
MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has again started its Special Register Anywhere/Anytime Program (SRAP) at select locations in Manila.
The SRAP sites for February are: Robinson Metro East (Feb. 20; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.); Megaworld-Broadway (Feb. 21; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.); Megaworld-Village Square (Feb. 21; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.); Ateneo de Manila University (Feb. 23, Feb. 26 and Feb. 27; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.); the Department of Foreign Affairs (Feb. 24; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Megaworld-Arcovia City (Feb. 28; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
The Comelec will accept the following applications: new registrations of first-time voters; transfer of registrations; correction of entries or change of status; and reactivation.

A valid government-issued ID will be accepted, but a residence certificate, barangay ID or certificate, company ID or police clearance will not.
The poll body launched its nationwide voter registration drive on Oct. 20, 2025, and will run until May 18, 2026, from Mondays to Saturdays, including holidays, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at local Comelec offices.
Meanwhile, Comelec resumed registration for residents of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, following the postponement of the first parliamentary elections in the region. This registration drive will run from Feb. 9 to March 30.
Popular initiative
The SRAP was launched in August 2025 for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, but it expanded beyond Metro Manila to include remote areas, government offices, private companies, schools, hospitals and malls nationwide.
Comelec Chair George Garcia confirmed plans to expand SRAP nationwide, including in cities like Marawi and Iligan, and reiterated that the program will continue for future elections if needed.
In a related development, the Comelec’s Political Finance and Affairs Department (PFAD) is set to issue a resolution of the case of Sen. Rodante Marcoleta over his alleged inaccurate disclosure of contributions in his statement of contribution and expenditure (Soce) in 2025.
“It is for resolution by the PFAD,” Garcia said, when asked about the case of Marcoleta, who claimed that he did not declare in his Soces because his friends asked to remain anonymous. His Soce showed that he had zero contributions, while his campaign expenditure is worth P112,857,951.44, and his assets from his statement of assets, liabilities and net worth amounted to P80,401,700.
