LOOK: PDLs cast votes for Antipolo special polls

MANILA, Philippines – Inmates or persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) cast their votes for the special elections in the second district of Antipolo City on Saturday, March 14.
According to the Commission on Elections, there are a total of 234 PDL voters in the second district. They are allowed to vote at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology – Antipolo City Police Station from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The second district has a total of 252,793 registered voters across eight barangays and 37 voting centers. The regular voting period will run from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Comelec earlier said that the District Board of Canvassers will convene at 6 p.m. to receive and canvass the election returns and proceed with the proclamation of winners.

The elections are held following the death of Rep. Romeo Acop in December 2025. The candidates vying for the position are: Acop, Bong; Cafirma, Baby; Infante, Dan; Llaga, Red; Lobigas, Atty. Nat; and Tapales, Atty. Paui. /jpv
