MANILA, Philippines – Sen. Rodante Marcoleta arrived at the Sandiganbayan Monday, minutes before the court issued warrant for his arrest in connection with a non-bailable plunder case involving an alleged P75-million campaign donation.
He had appeared before the antigraft court earlier in the day to seek the dismissal of the case and stop the issuance of the arrest warrant.
After the court denied his motions, he submitted to the court’s authority. /dp
