QC issues traffic advisory as Pacquiao sets city market visits

MANILA, Philippines — Slow traffic flow is expected in parts of Commonwealth Avenue and Edsa in Quezon City on Monday as former Sen. Manny Pacquiao is set to visit market places.
“Asahan ang pagbagal ng daloy ng trapiko sa paligid ng Commonwealth Market at Mega-Q Mart sa Lunes, March 10, 2025 mula 9:00 a.m. dahil sa isasagawang pagbisita ni former Senator Manny Pacquiao,” Quezon City said in a statement on Sunday.
(Slow traffic flow is expected around Commonwealth Market and Mega-Q Mart on Monday, March 10 from 9 a.m. onwards due to a scheduled visit by former Senator Manny Pacquiao.)
“Pinapayuhan ang mga motorista na dumaan sa mga alternatibong ruta. Maraming salamat po sa inyong pang-unawa,” it added.

It was unclear, however, whether Pacquiao would conduct election-related activities in the area
Pacquiao is running for Senate under the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas. The senatorial slate is backed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
