“Cavite has always been a decisive force in national elections, and Alyansa is coming in strong with a lineup that understands the pulse of the people,” Tiangco said.

“We have leaders who have proven their ability to deliver results, and we are confident that Caviteños will rally behind us,” he added.

Tiangco and Alyansa noted that since three of their senatorial bets come from Cavite — Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla who was once the provincial governor, Senator Francis Tolentino from Tagaytay, and former senator Panfilo Lacson from Imus — the coalition has a strong hometown advantage.

Aside from that, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. who has endorsed the Alyansa slate won in Cavite during the 2022 presidential race, getting over 1.1 million votes — with 81 percent of registered voters participating.
