Support for former Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso continues to build as more Manileños have rally behind for his comeback in Manila.
MANILA, Philippines — The momentum of support for former Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso continues to build as more Manileños have rallied behind his comeback to City Hall
During an event at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium on Sunday, longtime Manila residents voiced their desire to elect Domagoso for Mayor in hopes of bringing cleanliness, discipline and order back to the nation’s capital.
Another resident, from the Kababaihan ng Maynila group, echoed the sentiment, calling for Domagoso’s return. “Kailangan po kayo ulit ng mga taga-Maynila. Malaking pagbabago ulit kapag nakaupo ulit si Mayor Isko Moreno.”
The overwhelming support from the community was also matched by the confidence of Domagoso’s slate, “Yorme’s Choice.”
His running mate, vice mayoral candidate Chi Atienza, reaffirmed her commitment to supporting Domagoso’s leadership.
Manila 3rd District Councilor Tol Zarcal also expressed his unwavering belief in Domagoso’s leadership, saying, “Tayo po ay walang katalo-talo ‘pag kasama natin si Yorme.”
Likewise, Manila 5th District congressional candidate Amado Bagatsing urged voters to rally behind both Domagoso and Atienza.
Manila City Council hopefuls also backed the campaign, with 5th District Councilor aspirant Tol Mac Ignacio calling on Manileños to unite in this electoral battle.
For Manila 3rd District Councilor aspirant Bong Alvarez, Domagoso’s guiding principle remains key to his leadership: “’Yun lang pala ang sikreto ng ating mahal na Yorme: God first.
