Marcos, Alyansa Senate bets bare plans to further boost Calabarzon

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. on Friday said he and his endorsed Senate candidates have projects in place to further boost the Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) region.

Marcos made the pronouncement as he led the ‘Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas’ rally at the New Cavite Provincial Capitol in Trece Martires City.

In his speech, Marcos noted the sudden rise of the population in Calabarzon.

“Lahat po ‘yan ay nahihirapan ang mga bagong dating sa inyong probinsya kaya malalaking proyekto ang nakakasa para sa Calabarzon … para maging maganda ang tuloy tuloy na kaunalaran ng Region 4A, ng Calabarzon, ng Cavite ay kailangan natin ng magagaling na senador, ng mga senador na nagkakaisa at nagtutulungan,” said Marcos.

(All of these are causing difficulties for the newcomers in your province, which is why major projects are lined up for Calabarzon… In order to ensure the continuous progress of Region 4A, Calabarzon, and Cavite, we need skilled senators, senators who are united and working together.)

Marcos said he and his Senate candidates are planning to boost Calabarzon due to its strong economic performance, which he said is even better than Metro Manila.

“Ang Calabarzon, ang Region 4A, ang pinakamaganda ang economic performance. Ang inyong economic performance mas maganda pa sa National Capital Region,” Marcos said.

(Calabarzon, Region 4A, has the best economic performance. Your economic performance is even better than the National Capital Region.)

The “Alyansa” is composed of several political parties, namely, Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats, Nationalist People’s Coalition, Nacionalista Party and National Unity Party.
