In a social media post, Escudero said he met with Pangilinan in Sorsogon over the weekend, discussing legislation they worked on during their time together in the Senate.

“Umaasa ako na ang aming magandang samahan ay maipagpapatuloy kung si Sen. Kiko ay papalaring makabalik sa Senado,” Escudero said in his post.

(I expect our working relationship to continue if Sen. Kiko is given the chance to return to the Senate.)

Pangilinan previously gained the endorsement of another former colleague, Sen. Win Gatchalian, during his visit to Valenzuela City last March 21.
