Lito Atienza endorses Isko Moreno at Manila proclamation rally
MANILA, Philippines – The recent proclamation rally in Manila saw a significant show of support for former Mayor Isko Moreno and his slate for the 2025 elections after they were endorsed by another former Manila mayor, Lito Atienza,

During the rally, Moreno confidently addressed the crowd, saying, “Matalino mga taga Maynila, alam ninyo kung sino ang tapat at totoo.”
He emphasized his dedication to ensuring the elderly and children receive essential needs like medicine, vitamins, and other necessities.
The rally also introduced Moreno’s slate, “Yorme’s Choice ng Singko,” which includes councilor candidates Che Borromeo, Bobby Espiritu, Atty. Jaybe Hizon, Tol Mac Ignacio, Zeb Laureano Lao, and Mon Yupangco.
What made the rally even more significant was the presence of Atienza, who served for three consecutive terms from 1998 to 2007.
Atienza, a respected political figure in the city, showed his strong support for Moreno’s leadership, rallying the crowd with his endorsement.
“Kung meron kayong puso, utak, at damdamin, alam ninyo na si Isko ang dapat maging mayor ng Maynila,” Atienza said.
His presence at the rally further strengthened the message of unity and commitment to serving the people of Manila.
Borromeo, one of the candidates for city councilor, also sparked excitement among the crowd.
“Gusto niyo bang bumalik si Isko?” she asked.
The audience responded with loud applause and cheers, signaling their support for Moreno’s return to city hall.
Chi Atienza, Moreno running mate, also took to the stage, promising to work hard for the residents of Manila and ensure that their needs are prioritized.
The rally concluded with a prayer and heartfelt gratitude for the people of Manila.
