Reelectionist Bong Go leads Pulse Asia survey on senatorial bets

MANILA, Philippines — With just a month before the midterm elections, Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go is leading in a pre-election survey by the Pulse Asia Research Incorporated.
On the other hand, actor Philip Salvador is included in the Magic 12.
Pulse said it conducted its pre-election preference survey for the 2025 senatorial race from March 23 to March 29 through face-to-face interviews.
It covered 2,400 randomly selected Filipinos.
Out of 64 senatorial candidates vying for seats in the upcoming elections, 16 have a statistical chance of winning.
Of these 16 candidates, reelectionist Go leads the survey with a voter preference of 61.9 percent.
He was closely followed by ACT-CIS Rep. Erwin Tulfo (51.1 percent) and incumbent Sen. Ronald dela Rosa (48.7 percent) who have tied at the second and third ranks.
Other probable winners in the May 2025 polls are as follows:
- former Senate President Vicente Sotto III (44.2 percent, fourth place)
- Sen. Pia Cayetano (37.5 percent; fifth to 10th places)
- Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr. (36.9 percent; fifth to 11th places)
- former Sen. Panfilo Lacson (36 percent; fifth to 11th places)
- Willie Revillame (35.7 percent; fifth to 12th places)
- Ben Tulfo (35.4 percent; fifth to 12th places)
- Makati City Mayor Abby Binay (35.3 percent, fifth to 12th places)
- Sen. Lito Lapid (33.3 percent; sixth to 13th places)
- former Sen. Manny Pacquiao (32 percent; eighth to 16th places)
- Phillip Salvador (30.0 percent; 11th to 17th places)
- Las Piñas City Representative Camille Villar (29 percent; 12th to 18th places)
- former Sen. Bam Aquino (28.6 percent; 12th to 18th places)
- SAGIP Partylist Representative Rodante Marcoleta (28.3 percent; 12th to 18th places)
