MANILA, Philippines – A remarkable event took place on April 11, 2025, at FPJ Studios with the turn-over of 500,000 signatures in support of the FPJ Panday Bayanihan Partylist.
The dedicated Volunteer Poe Kami Movement, led by Ricky Mallari, launched a signature campaign called “Ituloy natin ang Adbokasiya ni FPJ.” This initiative effectively mobilized community support through grassroots activities across various venues, including public markets and tricycle terminals. Areas such as Pasig, Taguig, Marikina, Pateros, San Juan, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, and Bacoor experienced a positive response, along with meaningful participation from residents of Rizal Province and the 3rd district of Pangasinan.

So all in all, naka 300,000 mahigit kaming signatures.

Mallari further explained that the required number of signatures for a nominee is just over 300,000, and their effort substantially exceeds this threshold. He highlighted the potential for even more support, noting, “Wala pa po diyan ang mga supporter ng 2nd nominee from Batangas at 3rd nominee from Mindoro.
As the proud grandson of the late Fernando Poe Jr., Brian Poe, the first nominee of the FPJ Panday Bayanihan Partylist, continued to share his family’s legacy during the recent public gathering.

Brian recalled the past when there was significant public support for his grandfather, highlighting the grassroots movement that encouraged FPJ to run for president.

He pointed out the realistic goal of securing congressional representation and acknowledged the crucial role of community support in achieving this.
Brian emphasized that the process of gathering signatures for their partylist has been made easier by the genuine enthusiasm of community members eager to volunteer.
Brian underscored that this partylist belongs to the people, emphasizing its commitment to addressing their needs through initial consultations with various sectors. He highlighted that feedback from citizens was instrumental in understanding the community’s essential needs, ensuring that the partylist is genuinely reflective of the voices of the people.
