MANILA, Philippines – Former Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso is asking for the public’s support in his bid to reclaim the city’s top office, urging Manileños to back his full slate of candidates in the upcoming elections.
In a video posted on his Facebook account, Moreno emphasized the importance of unity in his effort to revive the city. He appealed to the public not to split the votes for his team, referring to it as “Yorme’s Choice,” which includes candidates for mayor, vice mayor, six congressional districts, and city councilors.
“I cannot do it alone.
The post also highlighted key accomplishments from Moreno’s 2019–2022 term, such as the rehabilitation of public spaces like Divisoria, the Lagusnilad Underpass, and major roads including Taft Avenue and Kalaw Street. He also cited the development of public housing projects like Tondominium and Binondominium, and the construction of 10-story, fully air-conditioned public schools such as Manila Science High School and Rosauro Almario Elementary School.

Moreno’s term was also marked by his quick response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the construction of the Manila COVID-19 Field Hospital, 24/7 testing and vaccination drives, and the distribution of food boxes to over 700,000 households.
In the post, Moreno also emphasized the expansion of social services for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, solo parents, and students. He also proudly pointed to the completion of the city’s first Islamic cemetery during his tenure.
Towards the end of the video, Moreno added a message of resilience and collective effort:
“When we fail, babangon kami agad. When we succeed, we will innovate, we will make it further, and reach more. Nobody will be left behind.”
