MANILA, Philippines — Listening to the concerns of the people has been the key for their group to rank high in pre-election mock polls, Tingog’s officials said on Friday after it topped Tangere’s latest survey for the party-list race.
In a statement on Friday, Tingog party-list Reps. Yedda Romualdez and Jude Acidre said that the results of the survey indicate that people trust the group, and that their community-based service is acknowledged.
“We are humbled by this expression of support,” Romualdez said. “It affirms the values we have stood by from the very beginning—being present, listening to our people, and making government services more accessible to those who need them most.”
“Our mission has always been clear: To ensure that no Filipino is left behind. We believe that good governance begins with listening and is fulfilled through action. We listen. We serve. That is what defines our work,” Acidre added.
According to the survey from Tangere, 5.75 percent of their respondents picked Tingog during a survey conducted from April 22 to 26 — or just two weeks before the 2025 midterm elections.
Tingog said this is the result of its” steady presence in underserved communities” and the implementation of its different health caravans.
‘At least two seats’
With the results of Tangere’s survey, Tingog is projected to have at least two seats in the House of Representatives of the 20th Congress.
“This is not merely a political milestone. It is a reminder of our responsibility to serve with integrity and compassion. Every Filipino deserves to be heard, to be helped, and to be reached—wherever they are,” Romualdez said.
“We will continue to serve with focus and purpose. Our work in Congress and in communities will always reflect the voices of the regions and the realities of everyday Filipinos. This is, and will remain, the heart of Tingog’s mission,” Acidre added.
The rise of Tingog’s rankings was also reflected in the recent survey from OCTA Research, where it also emerged as the top choice for respondents. According to the OCTA Research survey, 5.23 percent of voters questioned by the polling firm picked Tingog.
Next to Tingog is ACT-CIS party-list with 4.83 percent, and then Ako Bicol party-list with 4.55 percent.

The group said the high ratings that Tingog received can be attributed to its nationwide service to communities.
Last April 14, the previous OCTA Research poll showed that Tingog was at the second spot, just behind ACT-CIS. At the third spot was 4Ps party-list, and then followed by Ako Bicol.
