DASMARIÑAS, Cavite — Senatorial candidate Camille Villar expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Dasmariñas for their warm reception and support, vowing to be a strong advocate in addressing their basic service needs and pushing for further development in the city.
Villar received a rousing endorsement from Dasmariñas Mayor Jennifer Barzaga during a well-attended Zumba event held at the Dasmariñas Football Field, where over 12,000 residents gathered. Mayor Barzaga emphasized Villar’s long-standing ties with the city and underscored the Villars’ consistent support for local development projects.

“Ngayon kasama po natin ang isa sa aking sinusuportahan dahil mula noon hanggang ngayon marami po silang nagawang proyekto dito sa Dasmariñas,” Barzaga told the crowd. “Isa rin po s’ya sa makakapag-solve ng isa sa mga problema natin sa Dasmariñas,” she added, referencing ongoing water supply issues.

The mayor also expressed confidence that Villar’s intervention would help facilitate lasting solutions to water service challenges, amid criticisms from political opponents.

In her remarks, Villar thanked Mayor Barzaga and the Caviteños for their trust and support. She acknowledged the ongoing concerns over water service, and called for understanding as the local government and utility provider work on resolving the matter.
“The people of Dasmariñas deserve reliable and quality service. I assure you that I will bring your concerns directly to PrimeWater management,” Villar said.
With her track record in public service and business, Villar pledged to be a voice for local communities in the Senate, especially in ensuring the delivery of essential services and infrastructure.
