The Solo Parents party-list has publicly denounced what it calls a “coordinated smear campaign” aimed at discrediting its advocacy and silencing its growing movement through mass reporting of its social media pages and attempting to shut down its official website.

The Partylist revealed that calls were made on Facebook group of a certain party-list candidate to mass report the Solo Parents party-list’s official digital platforms in what appears to be a calculated attempt to disrupt its campaign in the final week before the May 2025 elections.

“We are not here to fight against fellow candidates. We are here to fight for solo parents who have long been left behind. We need companions, not contenders, in this mission,” read the statement.

The party-list called on supporters, advocates, and fellow candidates to focus on positive, issues-based campaigning rather than resorting to online attacks and disinformation.

Despite the attacks, the party-list continues to gain public support, recently ranking 19th–26th in the latest SWS survey—suggesting a strong chance of securing seats in the House of Representatives.
