MANILA, Philippines – Power players Justin Brownlee, Jayson Castro, and Scottie Thompson have joined volleyball trendsetters Aby Marano, Capital1 Solar Spikers as well as social media personalities Baby Giant and Small Laude to spread the 1Pacman Party-list’s advocacy  “Champion sa Sports, Champion Sa Buhay”.

Also bringing their game-changing personas to 1Pacman’s campaign for health and nutrition, education, and job opportunities were former Azkals striker Misagh Bahadoran, Olympian fencer Maxine Esteban, and former rugby player and actor Eruption.

Gilas Pilipinas’ high-calibre forward Brownlee, an American who received his Filipino citizenship from legislative action initiated by 1Pacman Rep. Mikee Romero, and Eruption voiced out testimonials why sports advocacy works well for the country’s growth and honor. In the words of Eruption :  “1Pacman is the only party-list that’s walked the talk for Filipino athletes.”

Brownlee, for his part, enjoyed shooting with young cagers in scenes set at a Quezon City school. He said1Pacman is passionate about building young people’s mindsets for dedicated training, perseverance, teamwork, and discipline, which are all geared toward winning, not just in sports, but in life.

Eruption had much fun, shifting muscle memory from powerful lunges to elevated spikes as he was taught the basics of volleyball such as serving, tossing, and spiking by top players of Capital1 Solar Spikers. Eruption joined many rounds of sports clinics in Laguna, and Bohol for young age groups together with 1Pacman coaches and staff.

These clinics endeared 1Pacman to children, and parents alike, saying that it was only 1Pacman which went all the way to the hard-to-reach neighborhoods to spark children’s personal sports and fitness goals with confidence. Senior citizens, who were enjoined to share their wisdom on waking up early to pursue ambitions, also enjoyed the sorties with take-home care packs.

Renz Bana or “Baby Giant”  stole the show, doing the entry-point scenes of videos with the top athletes, as he rolled and punched, dribbled and shot goals with his two-feet-one-inch height and hefty frame. “1Pacman believes in us, whether you’re big or small or something in between. Let’s give our support to those who never give up on dreamers like me,” he said.

“Of course” Small Laude, who had fondly confided she was star struck and wanted to be a star herself, put in words of encouragement for 1Pacman Party-list first nominee Milka Romero who, she said, she witnessed growing up as a fine, determined woman, now ready to take up the cudgels for sports and youth development in Congress.

Many micro  and nano influencers, as well as jovial dance “budot” joiners have kept social media buzzing, fun-filled, inspiration-laden, calling attention to 1Pacman’s  bid to continue its work in Congress.
