MANILA, Philippines — Caloocan City Mayor Dale “Along” Malapitan has been proclaimed the city’s local chief executive by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) board of canvassers after topping the mayoral race.
His office confirmed this in a statement issued Tuesday after he was proclaimed.

His running mate, Vice Mayor Karina Teh, was also proclaimed the winner.
