Tentativa said they were still waiting for a Comelec directive regarding a possible additional P1,000 honorarium.

Those unable to claim payment by Friday, May 23, may proceed to the Comelec Iloilo City office.

Meanwhile, Tentativa reminded election candidates of the June 11 deadline to file their statements of contributions and expenditures (SOCE). She said notices have been sent to remind candidates of the requirement. Failure to comply may lead to penalties, and repeated violations could result in disqualification from holding or running for public office.

Comelec Iloilo is also preparing to resume voter registration for the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections scheduled in December. Registration will be held from July 1 to 11 for individuals 15 years old and above.
