ABOARD T/S FELIX OCA, PALAWAN, Philippines — Atin Ito held its sea concert featuring a diverse set of musical artists from the Philippines and nearby countries such as Japan and Indonesia.
The concert began around 6 p.m. with musical group Morobeats as its first performer, followed by Fumi — a Japanese actor and artist here in the Philippines.
The coalition is set to embark on its third mission to the West Philippine Sea early Tuesday morning. They will hold another peace concert in Pag-asa Island.

These concerts are the coalition’s “love song” to the West Philippine Sea (WPS) and those who protect it, according to Akbayan party-list president Rafaela David.
David, an Atin Ito Coalition convenor, also said the mission also shows that their commitment to the WPS is “not rooted in militarism or warmongering” but “in compassion, community, and culture.”
On May 16 last year, the Atin Ito Coalition conducted its 2nd civilian mission. The first-ever supply mission of Atin Ito was conducted in December 2023./mr
