MANILA, Philippines — Bad weather caused by the southwest monsoon, or habagat, persists in the country even with the exit of Severe Tropical Storm Crising, internationally known as Wipha, last Saturday.
As of Monday morning, five people have been reported dead and another five injured, with seven still missing, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
Classes have been suspended in many areas and even work in some offices due to continues rainfall that has caused some flooding in some area, including Metro Manila.
