MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) Signal No. 2 was still raised over three areas in Luzon as Severe Tropical Storm Opong moves over the West Philippine Sea (WPS), the state weather bureau reported.
Based on the 8 p.m. bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), Opong was last located over 215 kilometers west of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.
