MANILA, Philippines — Uwan, internationally known as Fung-wong, maintained its strength as a tropical storm on Tuesday as it continued to move north outside of the Philippine area of responsibility, according to the state weather bureau
It was moving at 15 kph, carrying maximum sustained winds of 120 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 150 kph.
But tropical cyclone wind signals remained raised in parts of Luzon.
