MANILA, Philippines — “Trabaho muna tayo.” (Let’s work first)
This was Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla’s answer when asked if he was open to running for president in the 2028 elections.
“Let’s not go there. You know, all of these will take care of [themselves.] Let’s do our work. There is no substitute for hard work. All my life, I’ve gone through eight elections and I’ve never telegraphed anything,” he told reporters in a briefing in Quezon City on Tuesday.
