Lagman, the provincial chairman of Partido Federal ng Pilpinas, said that if elected, he would continue his programs on renewable energy to address the electricity issues of the province. He would also focus on agriculture, which he believes provides employment opportunities.

“My filing is a testament to my love and respect for the Albayanos. Two and a half years is not enough to achieve better governance,” he told reporters during an ambush interview.
