13 of the region’s district representatives, around 10,000 community leaders and volunteers, seven city mayors and 136 municipal mayors from different political parties are expected to join the assembly.

Lakas-CMD and Tingog are dubbing the rally as “the strongest show of political force and regional unity in support of the administration’s 2025 midterm slate.”

The activities will feature a motorcade through Tacloban City, followed by a program inside the Tacloban Astrodome, where the senatorial candidates of the alliance will present their platforms.

“This is the unified voice of a region that has found strength and clarity in President Bongbong R. Marcos Jr.’s vision of a Bagong Pilipinas,” Tingog said in a statement.

“When leadership takes root in the grassroots, governance flourishes at the national level,” it noted.

Alyansa has already been to Tacloban, staging a rally at the Plaza Libertad which was attended by over 100,000 residents across Leyte.

During the event, Romualdez said Alyansa will get a big victory in this city and in the entire Leyte province.
